During the late 1960s and into the 1980s Puerto Rican singer Jose Feliciano was very popular, with quite a few international hits…best known of which was probably his cover of The Doors. - Light My Fire.

I didn’t state a preference for Jose Feliciano…just that his best known hit was his cover version of the Doors song Light My Fire. I really like this version …it’s great song and I loved the original by the Doors too.
@Marionville Just listen to the Doors. Sorry, no I much prefer Julie's, but I've known hers for a very long time and it often was in my top 20.
Jose Feliciano was very much a name from my past. I never took much notice of him but I sure remember his name.
