Currently my favourite classical pianist is Yuja Wang….so here she is playing Mozart’s - Turkish March as an encore…with the Berlin Philharmonic, after performing the extremely difficult Prokofiev piano concerto. Such a talent to elevate a beginners piece (hence the laughter of the audience) to such levels of excellence. I’m sure it would’ve drawn admiration from Wolfgang Amadeus himself…the members of the orchestra and the audience in Berlin certainly seemed pretty impressed!….

That’s because nobody HAS ever played it like that!
@Marionville Not only does she memorise everything that she plays (God knows how she does that) but in this case, she did an LVB and added a whole pile of notes. You know that LVB could never resist adding trill etc whenever giving concert performances?
@rogerbenham No…that’s not information I’m familiar with! She’s following in illustrious footsteps then!
