It’s a wet and grey morning here and I already posted the first song that came into my mind earlier in the music group…Here I Stand And Face The Rain - from my favourite band a-ha. I then got to thinking back to last year when I travelled all the way to Oslo, flying from Dublin and meeting up with my son Neil who’d flown from London, to see a-ha in concert…only to be really disappointed when vocalist Morten Harket came down with laryngitis and couldn’t sing. The concert was cancelled at short notice and we were left to drown our sorrows on a Saturday night in one of the most expensive cities in the world to have a bender in! Anyway, here is a live version of Here I Stand And Face The Rain which thankfully I was lucky enough to see them perform in Belfast in 2019…

They’re sometimes better than on their studio recordings…you can’t say that about many other bands.
