Something classical today…a tone poem based on Finnish mythology- Luonnator by Sibelius and performed by Ukrainian Soprano Olga Kulchynska with Radio Filharmonisch Orkest conducted by Karina Canellakis in Utrecht, Netherlands. Finnish composer Jean Sibelius is amongst my favourite classical composers.

Yes…I listened to the full concert and it was 50/50 which one I decided on to post.
Interesting as I had just heard that on one of my local classical stations. I'd never heard this before an thought it was something different. Wonder how many other vocal pieces had he written?
