Today we’ve not traveled too far from yesterday’s Lebanese/Greek collaboration just travelled a bit further east to Israel with this traditional Israeli group called Maayan Band, the instruments played are - frame drum, guitar, accordion and oud, with vocals. They are performing a song called Shalom Aleichem, lyrics by Kabbalists of Safed (16th century) set to music by Israel Goldfarb (1918).

I wonder if there are any Turkish/Greek collaborations in any form. While stationed in Turkey I noticed how similar the cultures were yet (perhaps due to religious differences) they seem to be arch enemies.
