Because I’ve been neglecting posting anything Italian …very remiss of me as I simply love to hear music sung in Italian - today, and especially for Roger - here is Laura Pausini with not one but two songs. First her hit song Simili…which means Similar in English, and then a double treat, a duet with Andrea Bocelli - Vivere or Dare To Live….

I found the first one very loving, accepting. I loved the concept of using the maze. The 2nd was fun but so much a big stage performance. His singing was lovely but she was delightful in her warmth.

Thanks, M.

The second video was performed at the Teatro del Silenzio which Andrea Bocelli had built near his home in Tuscany in order to perform open-air public concerts..

@Marionville Watching them again, I know that he lives in a sort of castle, but do you think that that palace used in the first is her own home?
I annot imagine the annual topiary work done maintaining that beautiful maze.

@rogerbenham No I don’t think it’s Laura’s home Roger, it’s probably some well known place, but I’d have to do some research to find out.

I like them together.

It’s been a real favourite song of mine by the pair of them for a long time.
