We lost a talented singer who fought a hard battle against illness, even performing onstage in the sitting position for a short period before her untimely passing almost 4 years ago in December 2019. I’m talking about Marie Fredrikkson who was best known as one half of Swedish hit making duo Roxette, but who also performed and recorded as a solo artiste. Here she sings Sparvoga which translates to ‘Sparrow-eye” in English….

@puff There’s nothing wrong with enjoying a good “pop” song …which is only short for popular after all! It’s the hit factory stuff I don’t care for…the Stock, Aitken, Waterman assembly line kids. Good pop which is written and performed by proper musicians who can play their instruments, sing live, and compose their own music are real talents whatever genre you want to label them with.
