That is said quite often, but they say no, they are a crossover group.
@Lilac-JadeCanada So were Il Divo…they were classically trained singers who did pop music in the classical style…that is crossover!
@Marionville Kang Hyung Ho [second from left, lightened hair] is totally untrained, & was a Chemical Engineer by trade. He is completely self-taught, & is a rock singer as a soloist. He does the tenor/soprano work in the group. The others are opera trained.
Ko Woo Rim, bass, is now doing his mandatory military service, so the others perform as a threesome, or solo, for now.
How long before AI creates illusory performers all part of the entertainment. These guys reminded me of opera singers. I cannot imaging how many were in the audience. 50,000? Seriously, I can see a time when the entire show is AI controlled and humans just become audience. Which I find depressing, but every day I am seeing more and more people saying words they only appear to be, but in fact are talking about quite another thing. We need lip readers but AI will develop quickly enough to show the right lips. Democracy is doomed.

Three of them do sing opera. The fourth one is a rock singer, self taught, originally a chemical engineer by trade.
@Lilac-JadeCanada Oh I accept that they are real, I just got wondering whether in future a star act might be AI created. It was said once that the Monkees did not actually play but mimed. That the Beach Boys were miming to sessions musicians.
@rogerbenham I've seen many of Forestella off stage to know they can sing at the drop of a hat, & they even trade singing parts for fun too, & the laughter is hilarious.
One of them is gone for now, serving his mandatory military time, so the three of them perform, as well as each doing their solo performances.
