Today it’s very easy to see that Spring is well and truly underway with daffodils, tulips and hyacinths blooming and new green shoots and leaves budding everywhere. I thought to celebrate earth’s seasonal renewal we’d listen to Spring from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. Written over three hundred years ago in 1720 by Antonio Lucio Vivaldi, who was also known as ‘The Red Priest’ because he trained as a Catholic priest and had flaming red hair, The Four Seasons is a violin concerto in four parts…one for each season, but Spring is by far the most popular and best known…

Ah yes. Spring. Wrong movement for here. Photo taken just now stepping out of my door. I like the Vivaldi but the photos were clearly not my part of the world.

Yes…but spring must be coming soon…after all you’re in the Northern hemisphere…

@Marionville The days are getting longer and warmer! But there still could be a sudden cold snap. The West Coast sea water current flows down from the Aleutian Islands down to California. Off the BC coast it is quite cold unlike your Gulf Strem/
