I saw La Yegros in Madison in 2014. Their music was described as Argentine Cumbia; typical of the international music festival at the Willy Street Fair, they were not much known but very well received. They have since become better known, and have two full releases available on Bandcamp, which has live links to the tracks so you can listen and decide if buying a disc or download is a must .
