I have just posted the Bee Gees singing In The Morning Of My Life in the Music Fans group but am going to post here too. The brothers Gibb, all four of them ...yes there was a fourth, Andy, who had a solo career, but sadly died of a drug overdose in 1988, emigrated to Australia from Manchester in 1958. The three older brothers, who were actually all born on the Isle of Man, became successful as the Bee Gees in Australia, prior to moving back to the UK in 1967. They became one of the biggest pop acts in the world, having countless hits in every decade from the 60s to the noughties. They also have written numerous hit songs for other artists. This song was covered by Israeli duo, Esther and Abi Ofarim in 1967 and was a hit for them. Barry wrote this song in 1965 when he was just 19, and I’m posting both their own original version and the Ofarim’s cover.
