What a great collaboration. It may be helpful for those of us who may not be too familiar with these artists to add a short resume’.
Scott Scott was born is West Virginia, in 1950. His love for the piano started at 11. Went to School of Music in Ohio University. As from 1998 in several albums with Windham Hill Records and later with Miramar Records. In 2010, the world’s largest printed music publisher, Hal Leonard, put out a Piano Solos for All Occasions Songbook. Scott’s composition, Purple Mountain, was included in this book. He is in good company since this book also included artist such as, John Lennon, Beethoven, and Duke Ellington.
Eugene Friesen (born 1952) is an American cellist and composer. He is a graduate of the Yale School of Music. Member of the group Paul Winter Consort since 1978, he received a Grammy Award as a member of the Group for the 1994 album Spanish Angel and again in 2006 for the Consort's Silver Solstice, in 2007 for Crestone, and in 2011 for 'Miho: Journey to the Mountain'.
