It’s no secret that my favourite band is a-ha, and I’ve been a big fan since 1985. These three Norwegians are all incredibly talented in their own right, and when they have taken breaks from the band they have carved out careers as solo artists too. Magne Furuholmem is not just considered by many of his peers in the music business to be one of the best keyboardists around, but is an internationally acclaimed artist and sculptor. He has co-writing credits, along with Pal Waaktaar on many of a-ha’s hit songs, and writes and performs his own music too. While he doesn’t have the vocal skills of Morten Harket, undeniably the “voice” of a-ha, his style of singing has its own following, and he’s got a successful solo recording career. Here he is singing Too Far, Too Fast.
