Mexican songwriter went deep into Racism in that song... I saw the Movie too. Could had taught America back in the day. She sure was feeling it every word back then. 'Knew the song well but not the version.

@dede18 Then I stand corrected, I always thought it was a mexican song because as a child I saw the movie with same title and many Mexicans singers sung that song. Thank You for correcting me... the movie was a great movie about Racism starting the Greatest star of all Pedro Infante who of course sung the title song. Eartha's version is Fantastic.
Love the trills. It takes a really trained tongue for this. One's tongue does far more things than just hold taste buds.
