Tito Puente was the Composer of Oye Como Va (written in 1956, recorded in 1962)... Santana covered later and in gratitude Tito Covered Santana's "Para los Rumberos". Tito Puente also wrote Ran Kan Kan... Tito did many songs to serve as vehicle to showcase his talent on the Timbal. Tito Puente was recognized as the King of the Timbal. And still recognized as the Best Timbal player in History. Long Live the King of the Timbal.
