Julie Felix who was a successful folk singer in the 60s & 70s died yesterday, aged 81. She was Californian of Mexican heritage, but was a prominent figure on the folk scene around the world and she had much success in the UK, with her own BBC TV programme. El Condor Pasa (If I Could) was a chart success for her in the UK in 1970.
