I love the rhythms of Brazilian music, and a favourite artist is Antonio Carlos Jobim. Here he is performing Aqualero do Brasil...or more familiarly known in the English speaking world simply as Brazil. It was written in 1939 by Ary Barroso. ...

Tonight I was at a performance of Van Morrison songs by tribute band Celtic Soul.....I was doubtful about going to it, but it was terrific. These guys are on BBC Radio Northern Ireland quite often, but it’s the first time I’ve been to see them...

Safer Six. - The Lion Sleeps Tonight. I must confess this Austrian acapella group came to my attention because I wrongly read their name....thought it said Safer Sex! They are great though....let me know what you think.

I love music, especially the thought-provoking lyrics and awesome music by "Highly Suspect" - and an interesting message expressed within the song - "My Name Is Human"

Hello, I just joined this group. Looks like a good place to discover new sounds. I hope to share some of my favourites too, starting with this piece of Icelandic loveliness from composer Olafur Arnalds.

Ai Du, my favorite song off Ali Farka Toure's Talking Timbuktu album. Thanks @Spinliesel for posting the link to Bondi--you inspired me to dust of the album!

Heyr Himna Smiður, Iceland's favourite song. I'd love to to sing this. The words are from a poem written by Kolbeinn Tumason, a 12th century Icelandic chieftain, set to music written by Þorkell Sigurbjörnsson in 1973.
