No, ever since I was asked to Volunteer as the Moderator I HAVE tried to both welcome New Members and include ALL other members and their posts, etc, accordingly.
And, YES< I have differed with some of their comments, etc, and said so quite plainly as well.
But it seems, imo, that this @waitingforgodo may just be trying his/her hands at Trolling, etc, OR, perhaps have a wee axe to grind with ANYTHING that is Australian by nature.
I noted that from his/her Profile page that he/she is a MEMBER of ONLY 2 (TWO) Groups, those being "Topic of the Day" and the Community Senate.
Which kind of makes me wonder why that is.
@Triphid, the drollery is that if "You must be a member of this group before commenting" then no amount of either "your own" or "well and nicely" is an imperative.

Where exactly did you get the idea that you MUST be a member of this group to be allowed to comment as being a SOLE requirement when the same applies to at least 90% of ALL other groups on Agnostic.com?
Wow, am I supposed to be shocked and embarrassed because it shows a woman who has STRIPPED down to just her Bra and Knickers?
I'll let you in a little secret here, I am not a Prude, never have been, never will be UNLESS it comes to showing photos of Child Pornography and Child Abuse THEN there will be a HUGE problem from me for those responsible.
Some might be tempted to ask why join at all?

Well now, that may well be your OWN opinion and as such you are welcome to your OWN opinion BUT we have grown in the last year or so to a list of members totalling 180+ INCLUDING members from the U.S., Canada, and numerous OTHER countries as well.
So, maybe what we have to offer is not your to your 'selected' tastes BUT to others it seems to suit them quite well and nicely.
