It seems like the 'norm' for Broken Hill this summer will be whenever the winds blow in from anywhere from the north through to the south-west directions we can expect dust storms until this drought finally breaks, IF it ever does that is.
Thankfully, so far they are nowhere near like the ones we used to get in the 50's and 60's, one's that I can recall easily WHERE you could NOT see your own hand in front of your face even at midday with the sun shining brightly above the thick , heavy dust cloud.
Tried to load some photos of the dust storm we copped yesterday just to you an idea of what it is like, BUT still unable to do so, but this dust storm started rolling about midday and didn't clear until around 9-10 pm last night.
