Well that was the most boring burning $6½ million that I have wasted time watching.

You will find my new year greeting in general & hellos
"For 2020 and my fellow members still talking to me and whom I wish to talk to. "

I enjoyed fireworks in my youth, but now I can see no appeal in them whatsoever.

Probably just me but it seems pretty insensitive to fire that shit off when Australia is burning like the biggest bonfire ever and we are told that embers can carry on the wind for 40kms.

Let’s hope none of their pyrotechnics carried 40kms so start a new fire ground.

Gladys uses the excuse that they are already paid for before the fires.
The simple fact is that when the numbers come in we will learn how badly the fires have affected NSW Tourism & the economy.
Of course many politicians & Australians still do not understand the potential and value of tourism.

@FrayedBear to me it’s not the cost it’s the brass neck nerve to say come and enjoy our fire show. It’s better than yours in Bairnsdale!

@Geoffrey51 If Bairnsdale's is a current bushfire then the probability is that the cost is greater than $6½million. It just not properly costed.
