No pics but while working outside today I saw a roadrunner, Western Bluebird, numerous hawks,seagulls, mallard ducks, canadian geese redwing blackbird,ravens, crows, kingfisher finches sparrows robins and a heron

It's been a terrific spring for rare bird sightings in the SE US. I got a shot of a make Rose Breasted Grosbeak through my kitchen window. When I zoomed in to crop it, there was a SECOND Grosbeak that I had not even seen! Two-for-one!

I spent a week in Monterey, CA and went whale watching. We spotted a puffin, which the crew said was pretty rare to see that far south. I wish I’d gotten a picture.
