Back to the same pond today after work! More ducks today, though still mostly mallards. I was excited to see the male pintail was still hanging around, and today I spotted a female. She is the fourth pintail I've ever seen (outside of photographs)...

Caught this Hawk landing on the power lines outside the front windows. Might have said "Holy shit! Look at that Hawk!". Can't believe the camera would focus through the window to catch it though.

My eclectus - Sam - has been pulling his feathers. Front, sides ,neck and some back. I changed his diet, took him to the vet who said it was stress. Can't believe this as I let him out and take him over to the beach or outside. Any advice?

Buffleheads and a black duck. Please excuse the quality of the photos. It's almost too dark after work to get any decent pics.

This fellow was running up and down the fence line trying to figure out how to get through. (The fence belongs to a deer farm, so it's probably 10' high box wire.) His buddy had made it over and had run off into a field, but this guy wasn't figuring...

A few years back I set up two feeders hanging on a frame near the hedgerow and filled them with locally bought wild bird seed, the mix seemed to be 90% wheat, the small birds just discarded it into a pile on the ground below, next thing was. a family...

Today, I visited Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area to see the huge flocks of snow geese and tundra swans. Unfortunately, it started to snow as soon as I arrived. I saw THOUSANDS of birds but I wasn't able to very clear photos.

Some of the approximately 400 tundra swans I saw today. If you are in Pennsylvania and you're able to visit Middle Creek WMA during spring migration, I highly recommend it. It's free and the birds are astounding.
