Today, I visited Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area to see the huge flocks of snow geese and tundra swans. Unfortunately, it started to snow as soon as I arrived. I saw THOUSANDS of birds but I wasn't able to very clear photos.

Some of the approximately 400 tundra swans I saw today. If you are in Pennsylvania and you're able to visit Middle Creek WMA during spring migration, I highly recommend it. It's free and the birds are astounding.

Driving in to the Pain Clinic this morning and a Great Grey Owl flew right across the road in front of me and landed in a tree. I only had my Iphone with me so the pics aren't the best but I will be looking for him now that I know he is around.
