Of course, reading about the status of women in world history, it is difficult not to be sad or horrified by the things that happened. But I think it is worth focusing on creating paintings that would tell about the positive changes in the female role. Many famous painters reflected significant historical events in their works. If you study the works of European artists, you can trace many important events on the way to modern democratic society. Nowadays, paintings in the genre of abstractionism are more relevant, where people can express their feelings or thoughts freely.
