My daughter and I make Artist Trading Cards. We have about 40 themes for our cards.
One of our favourite series is the one we call "Keyhole Capers". A Keyhole Caper is a folded card constructed so that the front of the card represents a door with a keyhole and skeleton key. When the card is open, a room is revealed with some features suggestive of something possibly tragic having recently happened in that room.
This is also what we call a cross-over series in that each card must contain a visual reference to another of our ATC themes.
For example, this card is titled "The Basement" and it contains a visual reference to our ATC series "Mini-comics". It also suggests Edgar Allen Poe's story "The Cask of Amontillado"
