It's the way of the TWA, True Working Artists. I do this with paints, wood, canvas, etc. Make Big mess and clean up too but sometimes the mess piles up for a week depending on how many projects I'm working on. When I am comissioned to make something I only think about getting it done. Clean up after the piece is delivered.
All this year I have ben giving away yarn, but more keeps coming out of hiding. It hides behind the mountains of unspun wool waiting for the spinning wheel. Your stash looks well organized and managable,
Totally understand! Finally had to put a firm foot down and say NO MORE FABRIC BUYING!!!! Have shelves stacked full in the library closet and have just not got the projects I planned, going like I planned. I have TOO MANY plans! That is a big part of the problem.
