I have one I rescued so I do not know the variety. Why is there no dirt in yours? I have some new silvery green 'roots' coming out the side of the plant. there are some in the dirt (more bark and moss than dirt) and some that are shriveled and dried up.
I water it like every 10 days. I bought some orchid fertilizer and just recently used some on it.
I repotted it from the plastic thing it was in to a clay pot with the bark moss stuff. Had several new leaves come out and it seems happy. I don't know if it will bloom again.
Any insights would be welcome.

Patience is a virtue. New growth is definitely a good sign, and fertilizing weakly, weekly helps.
Some orchids bloom yearly, some twice yearly, and some monthly. Most orchids need some full sun (morning) to bloom.
What variety is your orchid? Send a pic and I can ID it
Mine is a Vanda. Vandas require no media, just a glass vase to hold in some humidity. In South Florida they can be fixed right to a tree with no media. I water mine by soaking for half an hour twice weekly. I fill the vases half full.

@Leafhead what part of rescued was un clear? 😉 the tag had been removed. All I have are green leaves you good if that's all ya need to go. I'll get a pic, tho.

A pic is all I need

@Leafhead Here It is:

That's a Phaelaenopsis orchid, one of the easier ones to grow. It prefers plastic to Terra cotta, morning sun, til around 930, and weekly watering.
Some short days and long, cooler nights will induce bloom

@Leafhead Well fuck me!! Here I thought the clay pot would be better. It's stayin' where it is, I do not like transplanting, scared I'll kill 'em.
Okay, I am impressed but ya know ace, if you can tell me what color the thing will bloom you'll really knock my socks off!! hahahahahahaha

@silverotter11
You got me on that one lol.
Since it is in clay, just make sure it gets watered a little more frequently 😉
