This quilt pattern is called the Jewel Box pattern, I thought using batiks would make it look like jewel boxes and I think it does. I no longer quilt, just lost interest after twenty-five years and countless quilts given away.

Lovely...perhaps a break is all you needed to quilt again...seeing yours inspired me to go through my fabric and pattern collection again...I do have lots of lovely batiks...
If you ever travel down my way, maybe a trip to the Amish country quilt stores would inspire you!

@Holiday I mostly do lap size or baby quilts now...huge quilts are boring and too big for me to struggle with...I do like art quilts and small wall hangings...too many lovely fabrics and not enough time... ha ha
