This is what my sand molds will look like. The pour cup(gate) is on the left and the air vents are the red objects to the right. All of the gates, vents, and sculpture are in wax that will melt out in a kiln. I'll tip the mold upside-down to let the wax run out. Then melt the iron and pour it in.
