The large bread casting was successful. Here's the sand mold that's about to be broken open and the top of the raw casting! Those vertical projections on each end are the gates where the iron is poured into the mold. The ones along each side are the air vents allowing the air to evacuate the mold as the iron fills it up.

There are 3 different flower tiles. Arranged vertically after the iron is cleaned up.
and they thought the wheat breads they made back in the seventies were solid and heavy
