Took some time yesterday to make some cedar needle cases. Because my trigger thumb is so bad, I had to use my flex shaft instead of my carving knife. But they came out ok.

Thank you. It’s been hard working with virtually no right thumb. Good thing I am a lefty! 
Are they used for sewing needles?

I am just calling them needle cases. I made what I called a needle case out of a bird bone I found in my yard a few months ago. Then we had a snowstorm. I’ve been making them out of cedar since, because we had a lot of it on the ground.
