What does one do when your back seizes and you can hardly move? Sit quietly in one position and paint silver sludge on leaves ... for hours. Layer, dry, another layer, dry, and on and on. But the result is worth it!
I used .999 Fine Silver powder, mixed to a thick cream consistency. After drying it was fired in my small kiln at 1625 degrees F for 2.5 hours, followed by 6 hours tumbled in stainless steel shot (small rock tumbler) to remove the muck ... and Ta Da! Shiny leaves! the ones with small holes in them are intended for drop earrings.
Great use of recovery time my dear!! Great results. How's the back?
