Im going through a crafty phase. These are nearly done. I'm doing a layer of epoxy with pigment swirls in the "frame" area.
Is that much weight going to make the whole thing peel off the canvass are there other technical aspects Im not considering? Thoughts?

Well thats definitely a thought!
The epoxy should , if done in a thin layer, make the whole thing stronger and seal the acrylic to the canvas, as well as give it a glossy finish. Personally, I'd mask off the photo area and do the color swirl in a thin layer, then unmask the photo and do a very thin layer of clear over the entire surface. Don't forget the heat gun or torch for the resin to pop the air bubbles!
