A friend is installing a fountain in the atrium of her home, and wanted a sculpture to mount against the wall, for the water to come out its mouth ... that’s why this one has an open mouth 
. I love sculpting faces, it’s my favorite thing to do; for the leaves I took leaves from my garden, imprinted them heavily on the clay and cut out around the edges, then draped it around the face. In those five little points at the top I glued small red cubic zirconium stones for a little extra dazzle.
