Level 7

Nice one. I like the balance and the bold colours. But you have the same problem with rocks as I have - making them look solid. I wish I could do a course on painting rocks!

@Cassandra I wish i could leave out rocks altogether, but my favourite paintings are seascapes which quite often have rocks, so i suppose we have to keep practising! .Keep the pictures coming. It's nice to see them.

@Cassandra Here is one of mine where I am pleased with the trees, and another where I could not get the rocks to look solid and heavy.

@Cassandra Some of painting is from life and some from photos. Painting from life is much harder but i love doing it. I recommend it if you can get out and do it and especially if you can go on a painting holiday. They are expensive though.
