Necessity is the mother of invention... I needed a pencil holder. Knew I had a bunch of empty jars, fabric, etc, so in less than 30 minutes had this. Fairly plain but serves its purpose. Now I'm thinking of expanding on the idea... we'll see if that happens. LOL

Go for it! 
You could make entire bathroom sets using this idea (lotion holder, toothbrush holder, etc). Or going-away-to-college pencil cups in the school colors. It looks very cool!

Thanks. I keep thinking I should be adding embellishments but for my personal use, it's perfect. Maybe if I make more, I'll doll them up.
