Anybody here every use 3D printer? Luddite that I am I thought they were something fancy and saw them as used for making prostheses until someone on the site informed me that they are everywhere (perhaps like god) Can you tell me your experience?
My library has one, used for projects in children's workshops in the summer. It is an unassuming box with some extra parts and works easy enough for 4th graders to use,. I asked if they could make me a new pancreas, but the kids just stared in derision!
I haven't used one but I do know that many non profit makers spaces but them for the public to use on a membership basis. Might look in your area for a makers space group.
I would have no clue how to use one. Oh by the way red or green?
