Just editing. The robot is powered by remote control. I added my voice the the video just before the robot started rolling. It was apparently a very believable illusion.

@btroje I think just Robot but it's been a few years since I saw it, last.

@btroje The resemblance is deliberate. Certain details, like the silver color, the power pack, the treads, shoulder hooks and so on are patterned after the Lost in Space robot.

On the show, the robot was just called The Robot. At one point the show's producers were thinking of having a contest among the viewers to name the robot, but that came to nothing.

On a couple of episodes, some aliens gave it sort-of names: on "Ghost Planet" it was called B-9, and in "Cave of the Wizards" it was called M-4.

In "The Time Merchant," the robot is in a wooden case; on its case we see the letters GUNTER (short for General Utility Non Theorizing Environmental Control Robot).

Jonathan Harris, who played Dr. Smith, referred to the robot as Claude. The robot's creator, Bob Kinoshita, called him Blinky.

So, take your pick; whichever name you like the best.

They will be marketing a full size Lost in Space robot replica in a few months for about $8,000. I am sorely tempted to get one, as an investment if nothing else.
