LINKBasquiat fans, there is an exhibit at the Orlando (Florida) Museum of Art of unseen pieces said to be by the artist, The New York Times has some doubts. I will be going to see at some point!

The Cocopah tribe near me makes beaded collars similar to some that Supreme Court Justice Ginsburg used to wear. They mostly use plastic beads now. I was thinking I’d like to make one, so went in search of free patterns.

This is one of my favorite quilts I made, for an extended family member. There's a brachiosaurus, a volcano, a lake, rocks, trees, grass, all texturally pleasing with different stitches and rickrack forming sun rays, waves, leaves, rocks, and lava.
