Are you over inoculating your dog and doing harm? Dr. Dodds has written this protocal a long time ago. She has since passed. She was a highly regarded vet, I think she taught at Harvard. I have followed her shot schedules all the time for years and years.
FIRST: There is no such thing as a 1 yr rabies vax, vets use the same amount of anti-rabies shots for 1 and 3 yrs. If you give annual shots you are giving 3 yrs shots all the time. Just pay for the 3 yr.

Dr Dodds inoculating schedule should help stop vets from over inoculating your dog. Most vets use the "health check' in order to find something to spend your money on. Dr Dodds advocated for less inoculations which can cause allergies. Your pup until year one receives all the vax (but one) it should need in it's lifetime. Also I noticed from doing rescue that kennel cough CAUSES kennel cough.
Keep in mind if you board your dog you will be required to give a kennel cough shot.
