Dark, joyless, Spawn.
What does everyone think of this? McFarlane wants to go all in on the "dark" with the next Spawn movie. If someone can get the dark vibe right, I think it could be really cool, and suit Spawn well.

There’s not a lot of funny in them. No super shitty CGI Malebogia and copy and paste hell's army of hellspawn. No completely useless Cogliostro. No Violator at all. Come on, Todd MacFarlane! This is your last shot. This will either revamp or kill the franchise. And for fuck sake, it better include Angela!
