I tend to avoid spoilers because well, they're spoilers... That does seem to be a big middle finger to fans especially after all the hype UI got over the course of this arc. Super has been a let down for nearly it's entire run, I thought maybe this arc would change that but now I see I'm wrong. Super feels like a GT if GT was even more poorly written. I really thought UI would be a good diamond in the pile of crap that has been Super so far.

Didn't you see the spoilers? Even the Mastered Ultra Instinct Goku lost to Jiren. What was Toei's point? Giving Goku a form not even Beerus has and still let him lose in the end. Goku always loses. It was disappointing. Super is ending now but this year in December, there'll be a Dragon ball movie.
