Hi, great idea for a group. I don't quite identify as being in recovery from addiction. Are there any groups on this forum for those recovering from Trauma, ptsd, etc? It is so frustrating to be suffering from complex ptsd, when everybody I know who also is so ultra spiritual, and most opportunities for "healing" are also some form of spirituality. The reality is, what people like me need are resources they cannot attain due to disability, and community, which is religion based in the real world. Frustrating.

I am not in recovery from addiction, but my son and grandson's mother are suffering from addiction. By joining the group, I hope to learn about addiction from those who are members. Is this okay or should I look for another group?

You may even want to start your own group too. I think you can do that level 4 and higher.
Yea, I'm not into the whole spirituality thing neither.... One of my difficulties concerning AA....

This group can also cover PTSD, trauma and the like. Another group deals with "Mental Health Support " too, more specifically

To clarify, this recovery group has active members who post about these topics? THanks so much.
