I was so taken with the geometric and optical illusion patchwork shown that I went straight ahead and did this small tumbling blocks piece which i have made into a tote bag to carry my work around.

Good to see that the group is growing, albeit slowly. With the hot weather I am starting several new small projects that will not make me hot to sew/knit. After all, it's not as if anyone is waiting for the bigger projects I already have on hand. ...

Quilts of Valor Have any of you been to a Quilt of Valor presentation? One of my friends runs the local Quilts of Valor organization and they presented 5 quilts Friday and will present another 10 during the county fair next month.

Celia, Here's more optical illusions for you. I do a lot of them. Both of these patterns are by Karen Combs. Involves Y seams, but if that does not intimidate you, go for it.
