Confessional for skeptical thinkers.
Is there anything you want to come clean about your enjoyment of even though it may be completely ridiculous myth-based nonsense.
I find the tv show mountain monsters hilarious. I hate the fact that supposedly educational television channels broadcast this kind of BS, but I can't help watching this one.
I love ghost stories and anything magical. My daughter loves Bigfoot hunter shows.
Direct her to Mountain Monsters. They hunt bigfoot, werewolves, dragons, and a lot more.
I've also read a lot of local myths and ghost stories that are pretty intriguing. They do provide some insight into the beliefs that my own ancestors may have brought with them and how they merged with native legends along with those of earlier settlers. They seem to have been a superstitious bunch.
I can't help but be satisfied with accepting ignorance in place of accepting an illogical conclusion.
I agree admitting to not knowing is better than creating a supernatural/ paranormal explanation, but I don't want to encourage acceptance.
I was at a craft beer festival in Eugene, Oregon and the Big Foot woo-woos were having a gathering in the same hotel. I chatted with a couple of the guys manning the literature tables. Kind of funny.
That's what I think. These guys are hilarious and so inept they probably couldn't prove that cows exist. It's just amusing to see them crashing through forests, screaming at each other, and shining billion candlepower searchlights everywhere while looking for creatures that are supposed to be very skilled at avoiding contact with humans.
