Throwing Good Money After Bad in Ukraine?

Ray McGovern and Lawrence Wilkerson argue the U.S. should accept that no amount of U.S. funding will change Russia’s will and means to prevail in Ukraine.

As U.S. House members grapple with whether to give $60 billion more to Ukraine, they must also grapple with the checkered nature of the intelligence they’ve been fed.

First you have to be one too believe that collaboratively that they aren't already all knowing of the delusional reality spewed onto the public. In which the tool, the media, are also in collaboration of. Seen below.

{Recall President Barack Obama’s reasons for withholding lethal weapons from Ukraine. In 2015, The New York Times reported on Obama’s reluctance: “In part, he has told aides and visitors that arming the Ukrainians would encourage the notion that they could actually defeat the far more powerful Russians, and so it would potentially draw a more forceful response from Moscow.”

Senior State Department officials spelled out this rationale:

“If you’re playing on the military terrain in Ukraine, you’re playing to Russia’s strength, because Russia is right next door. It has a huge amount of military equipment and military force right on the border. Anything we did as countries in terms of military support for Ukraine is likely to be matched and then doubled and tripled and quadrupled by Russia.”}

This isn't foreign land to Russian's! It use to belong to the USSR. It's the very land that the USSR fought the Germans and Ukrainians on in WWll. Especially in the Donbass regions and two other neighboring regions who all 4 voted to rejoin the Russian Federation about a year ago. They are currently fighting in the very same trenches their fathers and grandfathers fought in. When they were refortifying those trenches, as bombs went and now go off in or near them, the bones of their dead from WWll are still being found and or brought out by the explosions. And potentially become fragments for wounds. You can bet your ass on the fact that the Russian military has the area mapped out and knowledgeable about it as well, with the high probability of better than anyone else.

On top of this, they have the local militias who most have lived there ever since who know the regions like the back of their hands. Which is why even during 8 years before Russia finally came to help defend them, those local militia managed to hold off a total invasion and capture of the regions without a significant amount of the fire power the Ukrainians had. If so many weren't so afraid of RT and the documentaries they provide on this war, you'd witness the civilians who lived through that war who speak about it in regards to the various mis/disinformation efforts of the west.

To the point above. The 60 billion isn't meant to help Ukraine! It's to help the weapons manufactures. The foundations and groups who will hoard and steal off the aide money. The weapons that will find a way to other countries feeding other conflicts. In which the major medias are owned by those benefiting from the sells of the weapons on multiple fronts. It's all one carousel built for death and destruction as it goes around. And in the center is the global community. Those being killed by the weapons and the rest of us paying for the ride. We're all on the same ride against ourselves.

{The above words were spoken by then-Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken on March 5, 2015 to an audience in Berlin. It turns out President Obama was right. It is hard to understand why Blinken (and Biden) chose the way of President Donald Trump, who gave lethal weapons to Ukraine, over the way of Obama.}

Here's the deception in part of what I was saying during his impeachment in regards to Ukraine. Trump has masterly manipulated his followers into believing he would be an opposition to the ruling class and status quo. While he did nothing but help them in regards to basically everything and exacerbating the problems. He gave them the funding and weapons to expand the war for his 4 year term while remaining silent of the crimes of the Obama -- Biden administration as he essentially allowed himself to be impeached for basically the same crime Biden committed. While he had at his hands the biggest world stage to expose all of them. But instead he helped to move us further to the right like every administration does. One step closer to full blown fascism.

Just consider if an equal share in the 60 billion dollars already spent had been literally given to every Ukrainian alive back in 2014 rather than pushing the genocide of Ukrainian Russians living in Donbass.

There would be over a million Ukrainians still alive or whole bodied for a start. There wouldn't be millions of refugees from ukraine now a burden on the countries kind enough to shelter them. There would be tens of thousands of Russian military still alive. The economic toll on the EU from loss of Russian oil & gas would not have occurred. The US president would not have been identified as a doddering old fart involved in human rights abuses & corruption. USA would not be 15 years closer to having to renege on its obligations to its creditors.
The world could be a relative paradise!
