LOL, LOL. Right after we were married I heard a scream from my late partner in the shower. I rushed in to see if she was all right and there she was under the cold shower screaming in joy. I started doing this albeit not at her levels. My daughter also liked this even at a very young age. Water from a well is really cold and so is my present rain harvesting system especially in the winter. I do this for rinsing my hair as I imagine it helping promoting blood flow. I normally don't like doing this (adding a photo) but this time will make an exception to emphasize my comment. We once went on a trail work party in the mountains. It was a hot day and there was a rushing spring from a snow melt higher up. She went in the water to her knees and others followed but soon left. I put my feet in it and in less than a minute they were both numb. The next day she brought a bag and we wondered what was in it. After the work party a couple of guys went in to their waists but, oh not her. Passers by thought what a crazy person. The bag was a change of clothes.

No more warm showers for me! Also, I shall continue to swim in cold lakes. 🙂

I do this as well. It takes time to build up to it.

Maybe if I started that in my 20s, but there is no way I'm going to take a cold shower now. I'm usually cold anyway, so I can't see a cold shower helping with that.

I continue to build up to it. It didn’t happen overnight for me.

I take a relatively cold shower every morning after my run and exercise cause I need to cool down.. It feels good 😊
