In the last ten years Bill Gates has purchased over 225,000 acres of tillable farm land here in the USA, not counting his foreign farm land holdings!!!

I totally agree. For those unwilling (it is a matter of willpower for most) to go to a non-meat diet this is a viable option.

I'm not willing to pay the prices, I'm quite happy with the relatively cheap plant based diet I routinely follow.
