Oh please…this is the same Andrew Wakefield who has been exposed as completely dishonest, and has been struck off the register as a medical practitioner in the U.K. because of the Lancet MMR fraud scandal. He is no longer a doctor but is now a discredited former doctor, as he’s been stripped of his medical title. He caused a large number of children a lot of harm when he caused many parents to decide not to get their children MMR vaccinated. His false claims linking autism to MMR caused herd immunity to drop to below the level required to contain transmission. Here in the U.K. we had a serious outbreak of measles with many deaths just a few years ago, when teenagers and younger children who had never been vaccinated had to queue up to receive jabs quickly in order to try to get it under control. One mother lost two of her children and was featured on TV pleading with people to get their infants vaccinated ASAP. I know he still has a large following online, mainly misguided American women, but here in the U.K. we know he is a dangerous charlatan.
