What can you use as a substitute for milk in tea and coffee, I have tried soya but it tastes like sludge ?

I use coconut milk I tried soy but it did not taste good at all. I only drink tea so have no idea how it goes in coffee.

I drink my coffee black but I have used the Almond creamer before and I liked it. Soy milk I think will curdle in tea and coffee.

I made Cashew Cream/milk, it is really easy to make. [thismessisours.com]

There are so many items out there. Coconut milk is a good one and the Silk Almond/Cashew high protein and Calcium milk is another one.

I use almond milk. Cashew milk is creamy and nutty.

I agree, I don’t put anything in my coffee or tea. I took my coffee black most of the time long before going vegan but would occasionally put milk as a treat, but no more, no longer apeels to me. Non dairy creamer will wreck a good cup of coffee as fast as dairy. Like you, I look forward to someone knowing a worthy vegan method but I have found sometimes the best vegan substitute is to simply illiminate the undesired ingredient.

Thank you that's sound, but while I am happy to manage with tea black I find that coffee needs something and I would not like to give up coffee.

@Fernapple ... ok, here’s hoping a solution is forthcoming... I know there are dairy free creamers I haven’t tried, I bet one based on almond milk woukd be good.. if we don’t have a good answer soon it may come down to trial and error. I agree that giving up coffee is not an option☕️?
