Craving onions--something I usually don't eat. I bought a bag today and ate two, lightly steamed, in salads. Same last week. I am thinking maybe I need potassium? Anyone else have odd cravings?

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Just about every dish I make starts by sautéing onions and garlic. Olive oil if I’m going Mediterranean and coconut oil if I’m going Asian or South Pacific. I really need some Sri Lankan recipes in my wheel house.

Onions raw are most vital source of cancer preventing nutrients. ....nothing odd about eating great food....cooking turns many veggies into sugar and destroys most nutrients
